Harsh criticism from Murat Emir to Gürsel Tekin: 'He is acting as a spokesperson for the Palace'

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir reacted sharply to Gürsel Tekin, who described the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance's decision to appoint a trustee as an 'internal party matter.' Emir stated that Tekin is repeating President Erdoğan's rhetoric like a parrot.

In a statement made via social media, Emir said, "He stands at the door of the CHP with police and repeats the lie that it is an 'internal CHP matter,' which came out of Erdoğan's mouth. At the door of our party, he is acting as a spokesperson for the Palace that is attacking the will of the nation. His duty is clear: To be an orderly for the Palace, a subcontractor for the coup!"

Addressing Gürsel Tekin's appointment as a trustee by court order, Emir criticized the statements Tekin made under a police blockade that was interfering with party members and deputies. Emir said, "Taking sides with those who want to occupy our party, and coming with an appointment from the Palace's court to strike a blow to the will of the people is treason!"

Emphasizing that the Republican People's Party will not sell out the party's values and will not forgive those who attempt to do so, Emir characterized Tekin's stance as negligence and betrayal.
