Stating that during Minister Tekin's tenure as undersecretary, 15,000 school and institution principals and 5,000 school and institution principals were dismissed by directive, Türkoğlu asked, “At the same time, the duties of 30,000 deputy principals and assistant principals were terminated. Many people could not endure this destruction. Many homes were broken. Many people experienced economic hardships. Is your conscience really clear?”

“Mr. Speaker, Distinguished Members of Parliament; What do we see in our country when we talk about universities? No offense intended; we see a bankrupt education system! We see a hollow structure that is growing quantitatively, unfortunately, not qualitatively! There are a total of 208 universities in our country. Thank God for that! Thank goodness we have no province left without a university in the last 20 years!

I wish we could applaud this situation. Yet, what did you promise? You said, “We will increase the number of our universities in the world's top 500 to at least 10!” We only have 3 universities! We need to discuss the issue of quality, not boast about the number of our universities that create an army of unemployed graduates. Thanks to you, a concept called “apartment universities” has emerged. In fact, Selman Öğüt was appointed to one of them. Just like Bekri Mustafa becoming the imam of Hagia Sophia. By the way, you removed the threshold application for university entrance, didn't you?

So what happened? A large number of students began to enter both two-year and four-year departments with negative net scores. Moreover, many departments still remained empty. Look, there are people in this country who get into 4-year universities with a net score of minus nine, don't you see it? Whereas; before the threshold was removed, it was mandatory to get at least 27 net scores for 4-year departments and 9 net scores for 2-year departments, wasn't it? Of course, this is not the issue that matters to you. Thanks to you, universities have become places for staffing and patronage!

There is a saying in Anatolia. It is said that; a barn of wheat has a handful of samples. For example; Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. This university publishes a faculty recruitment advertisement in the Official Gazette. In the said advertisement, it was announced that a Doctor Faculty Member would be recruited for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Sociology, and do you know what was written as a condition?
