ATA Party Chairman Namık Kemal Zeybek made significant statements on the "Çılgın Türkler" (Crazy Turks) program hosted by Gizem Fidan on the MK Haber YouTube channel. Addressing the ongoing discussions regarding the potential presidential candidacy of Mansur Yavaş, Zeybek stated that Yavaş is not just the candidate of certain political parties, but the candidate of the Turkish nation.

Zeybek said, "Mr. Mansur is also the candidate of CHP supporters, and he is the candidate of IYI Party supporters. He is the candidate of everyone who loves this country and is committed to the Republic and Atatürk. Please do not portray this candidacy as a project of two parties. If you narrow it down, we will lose."

"NOT THE CANDIDATE OF THE GREY WOLVES, BUT THE CANDIDATE OF EVERYONE"

Zeybek also objected to Mansur Yavaş being labeled as the "candidate of the Grey Wolves," arguing that such rhetoric creates a false perception. He stated, "What does it mean to be the candidate of the Grey Wolves? If you introduce Mansur Yavaş this way, a perception is created in the public eye as if he is a figure supported only by a certain nationalist segment. This is not correct."

Stating that Yavaş's candidacy should be embraced by broad masses, Zeybek continued:

"Mansur Yavaş is the candidate of everyone who is committed to the values of the Republic, does not deviate from the line of Atatürk, stands for the integrity of the country, and feels themselves to be Turkish. It is not right to show him only as the candidate of the IYI Party or the Victory Party. This both creates a wrong impression in the public and limits his political power."
