Journalist Yılmaz Özdil argued that the change in presidency in the US triggered judicial mechanisms in Turkey, and analyzed the process with the following words:

"Let's remember, please. What did Trump say as soon as he was elected? 'A wonderful man is running Turkey. I'm very fond of him,' or something like that. The button was pressed that day. Ekrem İmamoğlu was convicted. And it followed like a house of cards. Look, democracy is being murdered in Turkey. The rule of law is being murdered. Despite this, what does Trump say at every opportunity? 'Tayyip Erdoğan is a great man. He does whatever I want,' he says. Therefore, our leader of the century will put on a show with Trump at this NATO summit on July 7-8. By hosting the heads of state and prime ministers of NATO member countries in his own palace, he will also have registered the legitimacy of the palace thanks to Trump."

"CHP VOTERS ARE BEING LULLED TO SLEEP, DRUGGED"

While criticizing the stance of the main opposition and media outlets, Özdil expressed with the following data that a large segment of society has become detached from political trials:

"Unfortunately, CHP voters are currently being lulled to sleep quite effectively. They are being distracted and drugged quite effectively by Özgür Özel shouting and yelling at rallies. Operations against the CHP have become normalized, commonplace. No one reacts anymore. Remember the beginning and remember now. It has been accepted. Learned helplessness is being experienced. The rate of citizens who do not follow the trials in Silivri at all or are not interested in them at all is unfortunately 49.4%. Look, one in every two people in Turkey does not follow the Silivri trials at all or is not interested in them. The rate of those who do not watch or are not interested in the trial in Silivri is almost 75% of society. Three out of every four people have become uninterested in Silivri."

"A NULLITY DECISION WILL EMERGE BETWEEN THE NATO SUMMIT AND THE AKP'S ANNIVERSARY"

In his broadcast, Özdil shared the following calendar forecast for the "nullity" decision regarding CHP municipalities and the party's legal entity:

"What does former AKP deputy and journalist Şamil Tayyar say? We know he receives accurate information from sources within the government. He says, 'The court has made its decision for nullity. It is spreading the announcement of the decision over time. It is waiting for the appropriate conjuncture.' Look, I am saying this not as concrete information, but as a forecast within the framework of what I have heard.

Unless there is a major surprise, the NATO summit on July 7-8 will end."

'WE WILL START TALKING ABOUT 'NULLITY' IN MID-SUMMER'

Journalist Özdil stated, "Tayyip Erdoğan will put on his show alongside Trump. Some good news, especially regarding the F-35s and such, that the AKP can use to create momentum in public opinion, will be given. The guests will leave, and this nullity decision regarding the CHP will come out after that. They will complete their operation against the next CHP municipalities until the NATO summit. They will bring Antalya and such and tie them to Özgür Özel. The NATO summit will be held. We will start talking about nullity in mid-summer.
