STATEMENTS REGARDING THE NEWBORN GANG

Turkey is once again shaken by a new incident involving the newborn gang. Even a newborn baby is not safe in this country. They have turned the lives of babies into commercial material for gangs. We are experiencing the depths of decay. Down with your healthcare system, down with this order of yours, down with this government of yours."

CALL FOR THE LIFTING OF ISOLATION

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, during his party's TBMM Group Meeting, made a call regarding the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, stating: "If the isolation of the terrorist leader is lifted, let him come and speak at the DEM Party group meeting in the TBMM. Let him declare that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been disbanded. If he shows this resolve and determination, the path should be opened wide for legal regulations regarding the use of the right to hope and for him to benefit from it. Let the address extend from Imralı to DEM, not Kandil or Edirne, and let this heavy and historical terror problem be completely removed from the country's agenda. I challenge you, we are ready for this."

Responding to this call made by MHP leader Bahçeli, Tülay Hatimoğulları stated the following:

"The interlocutor for the Kurdish issue in Turkey is Abdullah Öcalan. If there is to be a beginning, the isolation must be lifted immediately. We are ready to take initiative for an honorable peace."

"We have been struggling for years for the isolation on Öcalan to be lifted. It must absolutely be lifted. We say let him come physically and speak. Let us all see what he has to say. Steps must be taken urgently on this matter without delay. I underline once again that as the DEM Party, we are ready to do whatever is necessary in this regard."

Pointing to the statements by Presidential Chief Advisor Mehmet Uçum that 'there is no solution process,' Hatimoğulları said, "Devlet Bahçeli spoke of the 'spirit of the First Parliament,' and Erdoğan says 'Let us expand the grounds for dialogue.' A chief trustee has arrived, and this chief trustee is trying to align and adjust everyone. Hey trustee, in whose name are you speaking? If you are speaking in the name of the Palace, the Palace says something else; if you are speaking in the name of Bahçeli, Bahçeli says something else. Who are you, where did you come from, in whose name are you speaking?"
