The assets of Turgut Altınok, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) mayoral candidate for the People's Alliance, have become a central topic in political discourse.

Journalist Murat Ağırel stated that it was alleged that Altınok owns an additional 600 apartments in Antalya.

Altınok's assets included 22 plots of land, 23 fields, 9 houses, 2 'masonry houses', 2 'masonry buildings', and an orchard. In his statement on Halk TV, Ağırel said, “A follower reached out to me and said that, in addition to the 6 million square meters on the lists, housing is being built near the airport in Antalya and that Mr. Altınok has 600 apartments there. These have not been declared. Photos and parcel information were sent; people there made these claims. When I tried to reach the Altınok side, they did not get back to me.”

FIRST SAID 'INHERITED FROM FATHER', THEN DENIED IT

When asked by a Now Haber reporter, "Do you have 600 residences in Antalya?", Altınok replied, "I am stating our assets from before, what was inherited from my father. What was inherited from my father..." However, a short time later, he issued a written statement denying the allegation and stated that he would file a criminal complaint against Murat Ağırel.

Following the denial, Murat Ağırel said, "Mr. Altınok has made a statement. He stated that he would file a criminal complaint against me with the prosecutor's office. I am waiting impatiently. However, please answer my questions," and published 3 documents while posing 3 questions:

“In my article and posts, I did not say you were a partner in the TOGO towers or their land. However, I said you were a partner in the Elmar Tower land (Document 1)

The land in Antalya where 660 apartments are being built in 4 blocks in exchange for construction rights is not in your asset declaration (Document 2)

The tax return for the company you declared you are a partner in shows no tax base… (Document 3)

I ask again: What are your bank holdings, foreign currency deposits, vehicle information, jewelry, assets in your spouse's name, and the movable and immovable properties you have transferred to your children?”
