Eskişehir MP Nebi Hatipoğlu had made headlines with his watch worth 9.2 million liras while attending the 2026 budget negotiations. Hatipoğlu, who was elected from the IYI Party before joining the AKP, made a striking statement on social media following the discussions regarding his watch.

This watch, which finds buyers for between 5 and 7.5 million liras even in the second-hand market, attracted great attention after the budget negotiations. However, after coming to the agenda with his watch, Hatipoğlu made a harsh statement targeting CHP leader Özgür Özel.
