During his thank-you visits that began on May 16, Fatih Erbakan, Chairman of the New Welfare Party—which secured one metropolitan municipality by winning the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality in the March 31 local elections—visited the Bozova District Headquarters, the Metropolitan Municipality, and the Haliliye District Headquarters, as well as the Karaköprü, Eyyübiye, and Harran District Headquarters.
