It was claimed that the hall was filled by CHP deputies during the group meeting and that the names attending the meeting would transition to the New Party along with Özel.
According to Sözcü TV reporter Bala Ateş Irmak, 82 deputies were present in the hall for the CHP Group Meeting. It was alleged that these deputies would stand by Özel in his political roadmap.
