Assignments changed with HSK decree... The court panel hearing İmamoğlu's diploma case has been dissolved!

With the summer decree of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK), the assignments of 4,036 judges and prosecutors in judicial and administrative courts were changed. While the dissolution of the panel at the Istanbul Administrative Court hearing the case for the cancellation of İmamoğlu's diploma drew attention, the chief public prosecutors of 24 provinces were changed. For the first time, a female deputy chief public prosecutor was appointed in Ankara.

It has emerged that with the summer decree of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK), the panel of the Istanbul 5th Administrative Court, which was hearing the case filed against Istanbul University for the cancellation of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu's diploma, has been dissolved.

In the case regarding the cancellation of the diploma İmamoğlu received from Istanbul University, the Istanbul 5th Administrative Court had asked why the requirements for lateral transfer were not met and under which legislation this situation was considered “non-existence” or “obvious error”. However, while the response was awaited, Court President Recep Şendil and Member Dr. Gün Yazıcı were removed from their posts by being appointed as members of the Istanbul Regional Administrative Court. Only member Neslihan Türkcan Demir remained on the panel.

CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTORS OF 24 PROVINCES CHANGED

Within the scope of the HSK decree, the chief public prosecutors of 24 provinces were changed. Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor Mustafa Gökçe was appointed as a Supreme Court prosecutor with a demotion, while Kayseri Regional Court of Justice Chief Public Prosecutor Burhan Bölükbaşı was brought in his place. Konya Chief Public Prosecutor Halil İnal was also appointed to replace Ankara Regional Court of Justice Chief Public Prosecutor Hüseyin Yalçın. Yalçın was assigned to the Supreme Court prosecutor's office.

PROSECUTOR WHO FILED THE CASE FOR THE ATTACK ON ÖZGÜR ÖZEL BECAME DEPUTY CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR

With the HSK decree, Istanbul Public Prosecutor Edip Şahiner, who filed the case against Selçuk Tengioğlu, who attacked CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, became the Istanbul Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor.

For the first time, a female deputy chief public prosecutor was appointed in Ankara. Ankara Public Prosecutor Pınar Akdoğan was brought to the position of Ankara deputy chief public prosecutor.
