According to the report by Aytunç Ürkmez from Cumhuriyet, Eğitim-İş Union President Kadem Özbay, who reacted to Ramanlı, stated, "During the AKP era, they want to raise a religious, conservative generation that adopts a culture of submission. The national will shall bury this mentality. This will be done by those who live their religion sincerely and by people who find the honor of being Kurdish in the freedom of being a citizen."
