IYI Party Chair Meral Akşener, who decided to enter the local elections 'freely and independently,' used the following expressions regarding Ibrahim Özkan, who resigned from the IYI Party for advocating cooperation with the CHP: "This friend of ours may love İmamoğlu very much. Sharing on his X account, Özkan said, "I would like to state that I do not find these remarks becoming of you. I am not initiating legal proceedings regarding these statements of yours."

I have not had and will not have any bad words for you personally.

I only expressed my views because I did not agree with you.

I would like to state that I do not find the words 'idiot and fool' becoming of you.
