İmamoğlu announces the result of 1,019 investigations opened into the IMM: 'It was audited 147 times before us...'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu made a noteworthy post on his social media account.

İmamoğlu reported that since taking office in 2019, the IMM has been inspected 1,019 times and that nothing has come of it.

Pointing out that the IMM was audited 147 times between 2014 and 2019, İmamoğlu stated, "The number of inspections, investigations, and audits during our term is exactly 1,019. The result; nothing came of any of the investigations."

REACTION TO SLANDER AND CONSPIRACY

İmamoğlu said the following:

"We have set an example in serving Istanbul with our transparent and honest management. It does not surprise us that those who could not find anything in 1,019 inspections are resorting to a politics of slander and conspiracy."

IMM Mayor İmamoğlu added, "We will continue to say 'Full Speed Ahead' in serving Istanbul and to give the nation's money back to the nation."
