Imamoğlu Construction had been seized! MASAK report revealed

The company in which IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was detained as part of investigations into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, is a partner had been seized. According to the MASAK report regarding Imamoğlu Construction, it was determined that the company purchased 117 properties in the last three years. The report stated that the source of these acquired properties and the increases in funds is unknown.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office made the following statement regarding the decision to seize Imamoğlu Construction:

"In accordance with the MASAK reports obtained within the scope of the investigation on 19/03/2025, IMAMOĞLU İNŞAAT TİCARET VE SANAYİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, in which suspect Ekrem İmamoğlu is a partner, has been seized by the decision of the criminal judgeship of peace upon the request of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

SOURCE OF PROPERTIES AND FUND INCREASES IS UNKNOWN

Information regarding the company in which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was detained yesterday as part of the investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is a partner was included in the MASAK report. The findings reflected in the report stated that Imamoğlu Construction, 60 percent of which is owned by Ekrem İmamoğlu and 40 percent by his father Hasan İmamoğlu, purchased 117 properties between December 8, 2020, and December 11, 2023, including 19 shops, 19 residences, 63 houses, 8 offices, 6 bureaus, and 2 plots of land. It was stated that the source of these properties acquired in 3 years and the increases in funds is unknown."
