At the Pendik Municipal Council, a CHP council member submitted a motion regarding the hanging of a portrait of IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in the municipality. Mayor Cin responded, saying, "When you hang the portrait of our President, I will hang the portrait of Mr. Ekrem."

The April meeting of the Pendik Municipal Council was held.
At the Pendik Municipal Council, CHP council member Haydar Erkol submitted a motion regarding the hanging of Ekrem İmamoğlu's portrait in the municipality, stating, "We request that the portrait of our IMM Mayor, Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, who won the election in Istanbul by a very large margin, be hung, and we ask Pendik Mayor Ahmet Cin to take this into consideration."
In response to the motion, Pendik Mayor Ahmet Cin said, "Regarding the hanging of Mr. Ekrem's portrait, when you hang the portrait of our President, I will hang the portrait of Mr. Ekrem."
Following Mayor Ahmet Cin's statement, AKP and MHP council members applauded.
