İmamoğlu criticizes Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç: 'The Minister is making statements like a prosecutor, it saddens me'

Speaking at the Pendik Public Meeting, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu addressed the money counting footage. İmamoğlu also criticized Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç regarding this issue.

Speaking about the money counting footage in the CHP, İmamoğlu said, "They are looking for work for themselves from a video from 4.5 years ago. The Minister of Justice is making statements like a prosecutor."

Stating that 17 ministers are campaigning in Istanbul, İmamoğlu said, "We will defeat their arrogance and their love for the canal."

'WE DID IN 5 YEARS WHAT THEY COULD NOT DO IN 25 YEARS'

"We have done in 5 years in Istanbul what they could not do in 25 years. We promise that we will do in the next 5 years what they could not do in Pendik in 30 years.

With the Mother Card project, we provided support to 32 thousand mothers, distributed 1 million liters of milk, and prioritized nursery services that had not been provided for 30 years. We built 4 new nurseries and planned 7 new ones. These steps are an indication of a thoughtful municipal approach aimed at families, especially babies at home, women, and young people. In our urban transformation projects, we prioritize the interests of our people and we are working for the improvement and development of Pendik.

"IS IT RIGHT TO CALL A PERSON A THIEF OR A TERRORIST?"

In 2019, after the election, they shamelessly said, 'We said those words about thieves and terrorists for political reasons.' Is it right to call a person a thief or a terrorist? Then this nation dealt such a democratic blow that they were stunned.

There is an inexperienced candidate who calls himself 'fair'; with the signature of his ministry, they took an 8 million square meter area from us and gave it to Pendik Municipality. There cannot be this much partisanship in response to this many conspiracies. But we will fix this too.

Their concern is not for the nation to benefit, but for 'my party member, my contractor to win.' But I am sure you will not give them this authority.
