İmamoğlu emphasizes justice and responsibility to Uğur

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, in a letter addressed to social media personality Oğuzhan Uğur, emphasized the importance of defending the rights of citizens.

In his letter, İmamoğlu stated, "One must not take what is not theirs, must not allow their rights to be taken, and must be concerned for, warn about, and take responsibility for the well-being of the state and the nation."

Ekrem İmamoğlu touched upon the importance of standing against lawlessness and defending constitutional rights in his letter, saying, "Advocating for rights is a citizen's right; defending the truth is a duty for us all."

He further emphasized the importance of warning those who harm state institutions and being concerned with the troubles of the nation.

In his letter to Oğuzhan Uğur, IMM Mayor İmamoğlu expressed his belief in Turkey's independence and the rule of law, stating, "It is essential to shout that the Republic, Democracy, Freedom, and Justice are the foundations of our existence, and to be the tireless guardians of the principle of 'Long live a fully independent Turkey'."

Thanking Oğuzhan Uğur for raising his voice against injustices, İmamoğlu drew attention to the importance of not remaining silent and of speaking out.
