Ekrem Imamoğlu, the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), President of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB), and presidential candidate, who was detained on March 19 and arrested on March 23, has invited the public to a rally to be held by the CHP at Saraçhane on the 100th day of his detention.

The following statements were made in the call issued from the Presidential Candidate Office's X account:

We do not bow down! Because this struggle is not the struggle of one person.

This struggle is a struggle over whether Türkiye will continue on its path with democracy or not.

It is a struggle for rights, law, justice, prosperity, and existence.

This struggle is the struggle of the youth, the laborers, the retirees, and 86 million people.

That is why, on the 100th day, on Tuesday evening, we are once again where hope never ends, we are at our home, we are at Saraçhane.

Let us stand together against this shame, this injustice, and this coup order.

Let us fill Saraçhane with hope once again.
