İmamoğlu pulls ahead in 'Istanbul' poll: His closest rival is 'no answer'

The Istanbul poll by Sonar Research, owned by Hakan Bayrakçı, has been released. According to the results, 31 percent of participants answered 'Ekrem İmamoğlu' to the question, 'Who would you like to see as the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality?'

The results of the poll conducted by Sonar Research, owned by Hakan Bayrakçı, for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) mayoral race have been revealed.

In the poll shared by journalist İsmail Saymaz and conducted last week, participants were asked, "If the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral election were held this Sunday, which political party's candidate would you vote for?"

"After the proportional distribution of undecided voters," the CHP ranked first in the poll with 41.1 points.

Following closely behind the CHP was the AKP with 39.6 points. In the poll, the DEM Party remained at 4.8 points, the MHP at 3.7 points, and the İYİ Party at 3.2 points. Other parties received 7.6 points.

İMAMOĞLU'S CLOSEST RIVAL IS "NO ANSWER"

The poll also asked participants, "Who would you like to see as the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality after the upcoming local elections?"

In response to the open-ended question, İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu ranked first with 31 points.

Those who said "No answer" accounted for 29.4 points, while those who said "I have no opinion" accounted for 14.5 points.
