İmamoğlu requests meetings with party leaders in his capacity as TBB President: What will Bahçeli and Erdoğan say?

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has requested meetings with political party leaders following the wave of trustee appointments that began 5 days ago with the appointment of a trustee to the CHP-run Esenyurt Municipality and continued this morning with Mardin, Batman, and Halfeti.

Future Party (Gelecek Partisi) Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu and İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu have responded positively to the meeting request made by İmamoğlu in his capacity as the President of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB).

İmamoğlu will meet with Davutoğlu and Dervişoğlu tomorrow. It has been learned that the meeting with İYİ Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu will take place at 16:00.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli has not yet provided a response to the request.

On the other hand, no meeting request was made to President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan due to his role as President.
