Imamoğlu to visit Diyarbakır on the same day the DEM Party delegation meets with AKP and MHP

CHP presidential candidate hopeful and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will travel to Diyarbakır on March 17 to meet with both party members and citizens. The timing of the visit, which coincides with the day the DEM Party delegation is set to hold contacts with the AKP and MHP, has drawn attention.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has accelerated his campaign process ahead of the Republican People's Party (CHP) presidential candidate primary to be held on March 23, continues his visits.

According to a report by Kısa Dalga, İmamoğlu, who kicked off his campaign in İzmir and subsequently moved on to Kayseri, is set to travel to Diyarbakır next week. İmamoğlu, who will be in Diyarbakır on March 17 with his staff and party members, is expected to meet with both the party organization and the local public in the region.

The fact that the visit coincides with a period when discussions regarding the 'process' that began following the call by PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan have intensified is noteworthy.

DEM PARTY TO MEET WITH AKP AND MHP

On the other hand, during the days when İmamoğlu is conducting his Diyarbakır visit, the DEM Party's Imralı delegation is expected to begin second-round talks regarding the process by holding contacts with the AKP and MHP.
