İmamoğlu's new advisor is former İYİ Party member İbrahim Özkan

Former İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman of the IMM, İbrahim Özkan, has become an advisor to Ekrem İmamoğlu. Özkan had resigned from the İYİ Party before the March 31 local elections.

HE HAS BECOME THE NEW POLITICAL ADVISOR: İBRAHİM ÖZKAN

According to the report on Halk TV, former İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), İbrahim Özkan, has been appointed as the new political advisor to IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. 

İbrahim Özkan had criticized the İYİ Party's decision to enter the March 31 local elections "freely and independently" and had advocated for the view that the party should cooperate with the CHP in the Istanbul elections to support Ekrem İmamoğlu. Six IMM council members, including Özkan, resigned from the İYİ Party at the end of last year.
