Arda announced his decision to resign during a speech from the podium at the IMM Council session.
Following the announcement, the contact between the political party groups in the council was captured on camera.
It drew attention that Arda shook hands with the AKP group immediately after announcing his decision.
It remains to be seen whether a new statement will be made regarding Arda's political position in the council following the resignation.
