It was reported that Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, made evaluations regarding the process dubbed "Turkey without Terrorism" and the framework law currently on the agenda during his meeting with the Imrali delegation consisting of Pervin Buldan, Mithat Sancar, and Özgür Faik Erol.

According to a report by Ruşen Çakır from Medyascope, Özgür Özel's approach—supporting the process but wanting to "see the law first"—was conveyed to Öcalan during the meeting. It was stated that upon this, Öcalan sent a "special greeting" to Özel and called for participation in the Parliamentary Monitoring Committee.

Öcalan's remarks regarding Özel are as follows:

Special greetings to Mr. Özgür. One of his officials should join the Parliamentary Monitoring Committee. I insisted on this committee for the CHP. They talk about law and democracy every day. The path to this goes through this work. We are not discussing a democratic legal solution with the AKP members, but with the state. The path to democracy does not go through Silivri, but through Imrali.

The report noted that Öcalan gave a message not only to Özel but also to left-wing political circles. It was reported that Öcalan argued that left-wing groups should also be included in the process and emphasized a "democratic republic."

EMPHASIS ON THE FRAMEWORK LAW

It was stated that during the meeting, Öcalan said that if the framework law is enacted, changes in the organizational and political structure will be required. According to the report, Öcalan used the phrase, "If the law is passed, our entire organizational format will have to change," and expressed that action plans would be reconsidered accordingly following the law.

It was also reported that Öcalan said, "The movement I will organize now is the Democratic Society and Republic movement," and spoke of a republican orientation, distinct from the separatist line of the past.

In Çakır's report, it was also included that the terrorist leader Öcalan is waiting for the framework law to be passed and sees this process as a step that will "pave the way for a democratic constitution." It was stated that Öcalan said the process in question could be approached with "the enthusiasm of a holiday."
