CHP Deputy Chairman Burhanettin Bulut had announced that the Syrian administration had accepted the visit request of Chairman Özgür Özel.
Journalist İsmail Saymaz, however, shared the following: "The information that the Assad administration has accepted the CHP's request to visit Syria is not true. It is stated that while dialogue between the Assad administration and the CHP is ongoing, no 'Yes' response has been received so far."
