Instruction from Kılıçdaroğlu to party organizations: Identify damages and file criminal complaints

It has been stated that the CHP leadership has taken action following allegations that some former executives who left the CHP to join the Yeni Parti took fixed assets from provincial and district headquarters and caused damage to party buildings.

It was learned that CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu gave instructions to the organizations to conduct damage assessments during a meeting he held with 81 provincial chairs at the headquarters on Tuesday.

Accordingly, fixed assets, technical equipment, furniture, and other party property in party buildings will be checked one by one.

According to the report by Berat Temiz from Türkiye Gazetesi, it was requested that items determined to be missing or damaged be recorded, that documents regarding this be prepared, and that criminal complaints be filed with prosecutors' offices against those responsible.

It was reported that Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized that the unauthorized removal of party property or the damaging of party buildings should not be viewed merely as an internal party matter.

The CHP's congress calendar was also on the agenda during the meeting. It was learned that more than 40 provincial chairs requested that the calendar be postponed, stating that they had just started their duties and that many provincial and district administrations had not yet been completed.

It was stated that the provincial chairs requested that the congress process be postponed by at least one month, with the assessment that "it is not possible to hold a congress when there is no organization in place."
