In his parliamentary group meeting the other day, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli had said of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who did not sign a joint declaration and was subjected to a protest at a martyr's funeral in Manisa, that "if he continues like this, he won't even be able to go out on the street."

Özel, in response to these words by Bahçeli, had stated, "He may be a good politician, but he is a bad person."

In the statement, Yalçın expressed that Özel was the last person to call Bahçeli a bad person and hurled insults at him.

"Hey, co-chairman of the CHP;

When the democratic mask you wear over your collaborationist-tutelage face was removed by our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli and your dirty laundry was laid bare, you took to the podium and launched an attack with all your fury, violence, and harshness.

But in vain!

Passionate and inflammatory sentences containing rhetoric will not save you.

Wordplay and meeting criticism with insults will not clear your name.

Did you or did you not send greetings to terrorists, primarily the traitor Demirtaş, at your party's congress?

Did you or did you not work with terrorists who have mandates and wear ties?

Did you or did you not become a carpet for them in the March 31, 2024 Local Elections because you were in need of being 'brewed' by DEM's votes?

Did you or did you not let the honor and dignity of the CHP, which founded the Republic, be trampled by the political extension of the separatist terrorist organization PKK?
