The Republic is the courage of the Mehmetçik who fixed their bayonets and launched an assault when they ran out of ammunition.
In the mortar of our Republic lies the precious lives of thousands of our martyrs and the noble blood of our heroic veterans.

"OUR REPUBLIC IS THE INSPIRATION FOR THE CENTURY OF TURKEY AND THE MILESTONE OF OUR GOAL FOR A GREAT AND POWERFUL TURKEY"
In the video message he shared along with his statement, Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that they are all experiencing the great joy of reaching the 100th anniversary of the Republic together, and noted the following:
"Our Republic, the symbol of our independence, is the inspiration for the Century of Turkey and the milestone of our goal for a great and powerful Turkey. The Republic is the determination that said at Gallipoli, 'I do not order you to attack, I order you to die.' It is the will that looked at the enemy ships cutting through the Bosphorus during the occupation of Istanbul and said, 'They will leave as they came.' The Republic is the faith that said during the Great Offensive, 'The time has come, God willing, victory is ours.' I commemorate with mercy, gratitude, and appreciation Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who entrusted his greatest work to the youth and said, 'The Republic of Turkey shall remain forever,' his heroic comrades-in-arms, our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our beloved homeland, and our heroic veterans. With our excitement and faith that have remained unchanged for a century, happy Republic Day."
