Interior Minister Yerlikaya asks for votes for Murat Kurum

The opening ceremony of the 'Manzaram Eyüpsultan Observation Terrace,' completed by the Eyüpsultan Municipality in the Nişanca neighborhood, was attended by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Eyüpsultan District Governor İhsan Kara, Eyüpsultan Mayor Deniz Köken, party members, and citizens.

"SHALL WE PROUDLY ELECT OUR MAYOR KURUM?"

Speaking at the program, Eyüpsultan Mayor Deniz Köken said, “We started the project in 2023. We finished it before the new year, but we decided not to hold the opening in that weather.

We said let's wait for spring. We said let's wait for our Interior Minister; I wanted to open it with you. Our citizens will be able to watch Istanbul and Eyüpsultan comfortably from here. We have completed the 91st project out of 90.

Under normal circumstances, we should have included it in our future projects. We said let's open it as soon as possible. There was very high demand. May our 90+1st project be auspicious,” he said.

Asking for support for Deniz Köken and Murat Kurum in the March 31 elections, Minister Ali Yerlikaya said, “On the evening of March 31, God willing, shall we proudly elect our Mayor Deniz Köken in the district in the first count, and immediately after, our Mayor Murat Kurum for the metropolitan municipality? There are only 30 days left until the election. 91 works are very important. I call this 10 percent,” he stated.

"WORKING DAY AND NIGHT FOR 9 MONTHS..."

Stating that they have been working at an intense pace since he took office, Minister Yerlikaya said, “As your Interior Minister, for 9 months, we have been working with all our might for your peace and security, day and night, with our police, gendarmerie, and coast guard. God willing, we will continue to work. When we started our duty on the first day, we said we would not deviate from the law, human rights, and the consent and hearts of our dear nation; we will always observe that. We have held fast to the rope of Allah.

We have shown, are showing, and God willing, will continue to show that there is no power other than the national will to all kinds of terrorist organizations, organized crime groups, and anyone who is arrogant in committing crimes. 

We work at all hours of the day to prevent crimes from being committed, and if we cannot prevent them, to catch them and deliver them to justice as soon as possible. With this belief, we are fulfilling this duty entrusted to us with our heroic police, gendarmerie, and coast guard, with more determination, resolve, and excitement every day than the day before,” he expressed.

"YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DROP A NEEDLE"

Speaking about the newly opened terrace, Minister Yerlikaya said, “You will see that this hill will be recorded as a favorite spot for tourism guides. This place will become so crowded you won't be able to drop a needle. Because when we look at the view from here, we say 'praise be to God.' Watching our dear Istanbul from such a beautiful terrace will return as a great honor and a great expression of gratitude,” he said.
