Investigation launched into Can Ataklı over Bahçeli remarks

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation into journalist Can Ataklı for the crime of 'publicly disseminating misleading information' following his social media post claiming that MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli had been intubated.

WHAT DID CAN ATAKLI SAY?

In a broadcast on his YouTube account, Can Ataklı stated that he had received information from MHP sources and that Bahçeli had been discharged following heart surgery.

However, Can Ataklı wrote that after the surgery, Bahçeli fell to the floor while getting out of bed to walk and broke his hip bone. 

Can Ataklı had claimed that following this development, Bahçeli was taken to intensive care, but due to the effects of the surgery and other health issues, he had entered a vegetative state and was intubated.
