FACTORY EXPLOSION WHERE 12 PEOPLE DIED

"In this age, with this technology, and this education; such accidents, explosions, and such deaths for no reason do not happen in very few countries in the world. No one's child deserves to be blown up with 11 friends at the place where their mother works. Such pain is experienced in Turkey and will continue to be experienced.

There are precautions that the state should have taken regarding occupational safety. Such accidents do not happen in developed countries, and deaths do not occur. For 22 years, unions have been demanding worker safety here. Precautions are being taken regarding very dangerous lines of work. We are saddened again by explosions in other parts of Turkey. They will ask you this: 34,000 people have lost their lives in work accidents in 22 years. The numbers are so frightening.

"WE WILL CHANGE THIS GOVERNMENT"

We will follow this until those responsible for this are revealed. There is no possibility of getting this government to do anything. What we will do is; we will change this government. A government that sides with the worker and labor will come. Occupational safety is a sign written on a wall. I promise, occupational safety will be ensured before profit. A system where laborers are not massacred one by one or collectively is possible. And the CHP will establish this.

HELICOPTER CRASH IN MUĞLA

We are investigating the situation regarding the helicopter crash in Muğla. The situation is extremely suspicious. We are investigating what it was on duty for, whether it was forced to take off. We are working with those who previously performed this duty. We will do whatever is required of us here as well.

"WE COMMEMORATE OUR ISMET PASHA WITH MERCY"

Tomorrow, we will commemorate our hero of the War of Independence and our 2nd President, İsmet İnönü, on the anniversary of his passing. "WE REJECT ERDOĞAN'S 'THOSE WHO REMAIN ARE ON OUR HEADS' APPROACH!"

We are calling out to Erdoğan; Syria needs to achieve both military and political stability quickly, and it needs to be made livable quickly with resources to be found from the world, and a correct plan needs to be implemented so that all refugees in Turkey can return to their countries. And he is trying to get the citizen to accept another plan by exploiting their religious feelings by saying that we should protect our Prophet by making this a religious approach. If that were the case, when our kinsmen were fleeing from Bulgaria to Turkey, when we were opening our homes to our own kinsmen, Erdoğan was shouting at Özal like this: 'Oh Özal, our poor are enough for us, the nation has reached the point of selling his wife due to poverty,' he was becoming that ugly. Now he has come and is trying to impose this on Turkey with the approach of 'I made you a citizen, let me make you vote' to create a new voter potential in Turkey through Syrian refugees. MINIMUM WAGE AND PENSION SALARY OUTBURST

In 2024, they did not raise the minimum wage by 1 cent; according to TUIK, inflation is 47 percent. The real inflation of the minimum wage earner is 78 percent. The expectation in society came out above 30,000 TL. We said we are not in it below 30. Türk-İş announced that it should be 29,583 liras, DİSK described it as at least 34,000 TL. We will follow the process closely. They are mentioning absurd figures like 14,500 TL for retirees. Come to your senses. Give retirees the minimum wage. Together with the laborers and retirees, we will make those squares and the government too narrow for you. I dare you.

"I AM AGAINST ALL ONE-MAN RULES"

They say 'CHP is mourning Assad'. Assad was a one-man ruler, I am against one-man rulers. Mr. President, I have bad news for you, I am against all one-man rulers in the world. Erdoğan says he reads the developments in Syria correctly. We always called Assad, Assad; we didn't hold hands and go on vacation. Assad was a one-man ruler when Erdoğan was on vacation, when he was cursing him, and when he was saying 'come let's meet'. We neither beautified Assad nor called him 'Esed'. "IF YOU HADN'T LOST THE 200 BILLION DOLLARS..."

"At the worst calculation, there is a loss of 200 billion dollars. There is no one to argue that this 200 billion dollar loss does not stem from a decision Erdoğan made 14 years ago. Reacting to Erdoğan targeting the CHP at his party's provincial congresses, Özel spoke as follows:

"You won't be able to go to the bazaar or the market, you will have the CHP booed, get out of here. I invite you not to the provincial congress, but to go to the markets of the provinces, to meet with the people of the districts. You man who cannot go out into the street, you man of congresses, you salon politician, come out to the street, I dare you, let's meet on the street."
