Resignations continue unabated in the İYİ Party, which decided to enter the local elections 'free and independent' after rejecting the CHP's offer of cooperation.

Independent IMM Council Member İbrahim Özkan, Üsküdar Founding District President Mehmet Keskin, and Municipal Council Member Onur Çukurlu also announced that they have resigned from their party to support the Istanbul alliance.

"ARE YOU AWARE OF WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF US?"

İYİ Party Üsküdar Council Member Onur Çukurlu said the following during his meeting with party members:

"We are the people here who believe that if there is no Nation Alliance, there can be a consensus of the nation. Not everything may be right. But Istanbul and Üsküdar have a truth. I asked at the Headquarters; are you aware of what people think of us? What has the İYİ Party been known for in the last 6 months? Our vote had risen to 20 percent. We couldn't do this even if we wanted to. Can such a thing be? Everyone owes an answer to this. Doing politics from comfortable seats is not our job. The seat you sit on will burn you. If it doesn't burn, it means you are not sitting in the seat correctly."
