Gökşen Anıl Ulukuş, a member of the Victory Party who was appointed in the CHP on May 31 and whose tenure was announced to have ended after June 4, continues to work for CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

Ulukuş's announcement on his social media account on July 4 that he had been appointed as an advisor to Kılıçdaroğlu had caused controversy within the CHP.

IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT HIS DUTY WAS TERMINATED AS OF JUNE 14

Following the backlash, a statement from the CHP indicated that Ulukuş's duty, along with all advisors appointed before June 4, had been terminated as of June 14. Upon this, Ulukuş reacted to the statement from the CHP, saying, "After the Chairman dismissed the advisors, I asked him at least 4 times, 'Am I still an advisor?' Each time, I received the answer, 'There were 90 advisors here, this decision is for them. You continue.'"

According to the report by Eray Görgülü from T24, it has been learned that despite his official dismissal, Ulukuş's dialogue with Kılıçdaroğlu continues and he continues to advise Kılıçdaroğlu from time to time. It is also stated that Ulukuş, who frequently visits the Headquarters to meet with Kılıçdaroğlu, occasionally prepares and presents files. Speaking about the allegations, Ulukuş said that he does not have an official advisory role but continues to meet with and inform Kılıçdaroğlu.

"I ORGANIZED THE PRISON VISIT"

Stating that he informed Kılıçdaroğlu about the process following the arrest of Aykırı Editor-in-Chief Batuhan Çolak and Muhbir manager Süha Çardaklı due to their reports on refugees, Ulukuş said, "After our meeting, I organized the prison visit. CHP Ankara Deputy Deniz Demir also visited Çolak and Çardaklı." Noting that they are following the process regarding Çolak and Çardaklı, Ulukuş said, "I inform our Chairman as developments occur."

ATTENDED THE RECEPTION

Ulukuş also explained that he met with Kılıçdaroğlu and recently organized an event titled "We Do Not Want Foreign Soldiers' Boots" to protest the motion. In his statement on his social media account regarding the event, Ulukuş used the expression, "Today in Ankara, we said 'Fully Independent Turkey.' We expressed that we will never bow down to any form of imperialism. No matter what color or flag imperialism comes with. Our 6 arrows and the Turkish youth who hold them will always exist against imperialism." Ulukuş also attended the reception organized by the CHP for the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
