In a written statement issued by the Afyonkarahisar Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that an investigation has been launched to understand the nature of the allegations, which have been reflected in local and national press in recent days, regarding the placement of hidden recording devices in the municipal building.
Afyonkarahisar had passed from the AKP to the CHP in the 2024 local elections.
