It has been revealed that in 2023, 138 of the 175 vehicles belonging to the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB), which passed from the AKP to the CHP, were given to AKP-run municipalities. It was observed that only 10 of these vehicles were allocated to CHP-run municipalities.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who competed against the AKP's candidate, Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç, became the new president of the TBB.
Striking details have emerged regarding the TBB, which had been managed by AKP mayors since 2005.
According to a report by Mustafa Bildircin from Birgün, data for 2023, a year during which the TBB was under the administration of the AKP's Fatma Şahin and Yücel Yılmaz, revealed that priority was given to AKP and MHP-run municipalities in the distribution of the union's resources.
79 PERCENT OF VEHICLES ALLOCATED TO AKP-RUN MUNICIPALITIES
It was revealed that 79 percent of the 175 vehicle allocations made by the union in 2023 were given to AKP-run municipalities. The allocations consisted of 42 backhoe loaders, 41 dump trucks, and 22 service vehicles. Only 10 of the 175 vehicle allocations were made to municipalities under CHP administration.

1.6 BILLION TL IN THE 2019-2023 PERIOD
The union's financial data also drew attention. According to the data, the union made a total expenditure of 1 billion 667 million 720 thousand 536 TL during the 2019-2023 period.
