İYİ Party Chair Akşener offers 'apology for the Table of Six' to citizen

İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener visited shopkeepers in Çatalca, Bayrampaşa, and Eyüpsultan as part of her election campaign. There, she responded to a citizen's criticism regarding the 'Table of Six'.

Akşener chatted with shopkeepers she visited on Mescid Street in Çatalca. During her visit, Akşener bought bread from a bakery and also had tea at a tea house. 

Akşener responded to a citizen's criticism regarding their departure from the Table of Six, which was formed under the name Nation Alliance, by saying, "I apologize for upsetting you."

Moving on to Demirkapı Street in Bayrampaşa, Akşener toured the shops and asked for support for her party's candidates. 

During her visit, a citizen presented Akşener with a plaque on behalf of families of martyrs and veterans.

MAYORAL CANDIDATES ALSO ACCOMPANIED HER

Akşener later ordered çiğ köfte from a shop she entered.

Meral Akşener, upon being informed that there was a vehicle carrying a patient on the street where party members had gathered, got into her car and left the area to clear the way.

Later visiting shopkeepers on Rami Mahmudiye Street in Eyüpsultan, Akşener chatted with employees at a pharmacy and bought vitamins. 

Akşener was accompanied during her visits by her party's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) mayoral candidate Buğra Kavuncu, other mayoral candidates, as well as İYİ Party Deputy Chair and party spokesperson Kürşad Zorlu and İYİ Party Istanbul Provincial Chair Yücel Coşkun.
