Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call for PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan to 'come and speak in Parliament' was met with a harsh reaction from İYİ Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu.
In his speech at his party's group meeting, Dervişoğlu said, "You have destroyed the memories of this great nation! You have murdered the future of this great nation! Now take this rope and hang it at the head of your bed in your office," and threw a rope from the podium.
