İYİ Party's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Buğra Kavuncu was a guest on the Mevzular Açık Mikrofon (Issues Open Microphone) local election program broadcast on the Gain platform.
COMMENT ON İMAMOĞLU
Responding to questions from young people participating in the program, Kavuncu said in response to the question, "Are you satisfied with the 5-year management of Istanbul?", "I have witnessed that he has made efforts with good intentions. There are areas I am satisfied with, and there are areas I am not satisfied with."
Evaluating the remarks of İbrahim Özkan—who resigned from the İYİ Party IMM Group and later the party, and became an independent candidate after defending cooperation with the CHP at the instruction of Akşener—who said about him, "He has no municipal experience. He doesn't know those things," Buğra Kavuncu stated, "I am calling out to İbrahim from here; let him cast his vote and see whether I can do it or not."
"YOU WILL NOT SEE ANY SIGNS THAT ARE NOT IN TURKISH"
Regarding a question about refugees, Kavuncu said: "One, when I become mayor, I will not allow any signs other than Turkish signs. On the same day, immediately, all of them will be removed. You will not see a single sign that is not in Turkish."
