These claims suggested that Erdoğan thanked Dervişoğlu for staying away from the main opposition's agenda, and that Dervişoğlu stated he "could take responsibility for the stability of the country."
Furthermore, it was claimed that a mutual desire for continued communication between the two figures had emerged within the scope of these allegations.
Speaking to Nefes Gazetesi, Dervişoğlu stated that the phone call in question had no basis in reality, using the expression, "The claims that I spoke with President Erdoğan on the phone are nothing but lies."
