İYİ Party: Slander against Mansur Yavaş does not reflect the truth
İYİ Party Spokesperson and Head of Media Relations Prof. Dr. Kürşad Zorlu announced on his social media account that claims attempting to associate excerpts from a poem used by Chairwoman Meral Akşener during the TBMM Group Meeting with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş are completely baseless.

İYİParty Spokesperson and Head of Media Relations Prof. Dr. Kürşad Zorlu, Chairwoman Meral Akşener's TBMM Group Meetingspeech, stating that some of the excerpts were misleadingly attempted to be associated with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, and declared that these claims are completely baseless on his X account.
In the statement from the İYİ Party, it wasstated: "In the speech delivered by our Chairwoman, Ms. Meral Akşener, some excerpts from a poem by the late Hüseyin Nihal Atsız were quoted, as has been done on various occasions before. However, it has been observed that these expressions are being taken out of purpose and context by certain circles and are being associated with the esteemed Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Mansur Yavaş." The statement continued,
"These claims are completely untrue, and we would like to emphasize that such political manipulation will never achieve its goal." it was said.

Furthermore,"The fact that Mansur Yavaş is the mayor of the İYİ Party is clear. Mr. Yavaş is a figure who has contributed to the establishment and development of the İYİ Party. Therefore, it is clear that such slander targeting Mr. Yavaş is baseless. The İYİ Party will always remain vigilant against such political manipulation. With the support of our people, we will continue to debunk such baseless claims and slander." were the expressions used.
