İYİ Party to take fund fraud allegations to the judiciary: 'Those responsible must be held accountable'

The İYİ Party is preparing to take the "fund fraud" allegations, which have been a subject of public debate, to the judiciary. The party's Deputy Chairman in charge of Legal and Election Affairs and Afyonkarahisar MP Hakan Şeref Olgun stated that they are closely monitoring the process and will exercise their rights to file legal complaints and lawsuits.

Olgun emphasized that it is unacceptable for small investors to face the risk of losing the savings they have built up through years of hard work. He stated that the money saved by citizens through the sweat of their brow must not be allowed to become a tool for unfair gain for any individual or group.

Stating that the İYİ Party does not view the issue merely as a political debate, Olgun noted that the matter has dimensions involving law, justice, public interest, and economic security. Olgun said that, under the instructions of Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu, the allegations must be investigated in all their aspects.

According to Olgun, the topics that need to be investigated include who was involved in the structure, who benefited from it, and whether there were any connections to public officials or political circles. He stated that the İYİ Party will follow the process to ensure that those responsible are held accountable before the law.

For us, the standard is clear: Regardless of who the responsible party is, what position they hold, or which political circle they are associated with, the law must be applied equally to everyone.

In his statement, Olgun noted that they will be the advocates for the rights of small investors and citizens, adding, "The nation's hard-earned money is not without an owner. The law exists for everyone. Whoever the responsible parties may be, they must be held accountable."
