İYİ Party updates Erdoğan's tea-and-simit calculation

The İYİ Party has shared a new video based on the tea-and-simit calculation of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In the video, Erdoğan's calculation has been updated to reflect today's prices.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, while active in politics with the Welfare Party (Refah Partisi) in 1993, criticized the then-Prime Minister Tansu Çiller with a "tea-and-simit calculation," stating, "This cruel administration does not even deem a glass of tea and a simit worthy of this noble nation," and made the following calculation regarding tea and simit:

"This brother of yours always has a calculation. How much is a glass of tea? How much is a simit? You have three children, the wife makes four, you make five. Look, you will eat nothing but tea and simit. The month is 30 days. What does that come to? Who will pay the house rent? Who will pay the electricity and water bills? Who will cover the children's school expenses? I ask you; this cruel administration does not even deem a glass of tea and a simit worthy of this noble nation. How can you follow them?"

The İYİ Party brought Erdoğan's calculation back to the agenda in a video published on its official social media account. In the video prepared over Erdoğan's speech, today's prices were used instead of the prices from that period.
