İYİ Party's candidate for Parliament Speaker finalized
As the presidential elections in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) approach, political parties have begun to finalize their candidates. The İYİ Party has announced the name of its candidate.

The İYİ Party has announced that it has nominated Istanbul Deputy Cihan Paçacı for the Parliament Speakership. In accordance with the decision taken by the party group, the necessary application documents for Paçacı's candidacy have been officially submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
In a statement issued by the İYİ Party Parliamentary Group, it was stated, "The necessary documents for the candidacy of our Istanbul Deputy, Mr. Cihan Paçacı, for the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey have been submitted to the TBMM. Thus, Mr. Cihan Paçacı has become our party's candidate for Parliament Speaker."
WHO IS CİHAN PAÇACI?
Mustafa Cihan Paçacı was born on March 25, 1949, in Malatya. His father's name is Asım, and his mother's name is Zekiye. An economist and banker, he graduated from the Ankara Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences. He served as Deputy General Manager at Şekerbank, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Etibank Banking Joint Stock Company, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Türkiye Halk Bankası, and General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors at TC Ziraat Bankası. He has served as chairman of the board in various commercial and industrial organizations.
He was elected as a Deputy for Elâzığ in the 20th term, and as a Deputy for Ankara in the 21st and 23rd terms. In the May 14, 2023 elections, he was elected as an Istanbul Deputy for the 28th term from the İYİ Party.
