Distributing carnations to women and celebrating International Women's Day on March 8, Minister Tunç stated that there is no place in Turkey that has not been reached by the politics of works and services over the past 22 years.
Stating that they have equipped all 81 provinces with works and services without any discrimination, the Minister noted that Aydın is one of the cities that has benefited greatly from this. Emphasizing that there is still much work to be done, Tunç said, “Our 81 provinces have cast their votes in favor of the AK Party, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the People's Alliance in all 17 ballot boxes placed before them, including referendums, general elections, local elections, and parliamentary elections. Now, the 18th ballot box is coming.
We trust our nation for the 18th ballot box as well. There was an alliance in the elections held 10 months ago, right? There was a presidential candidate from the Table of Six. Where is that presidential candidate now? Did they see him as worthy of being a chairman in their own parties? They did not. He was going to be a vice president. Every party leader was going to be a vice president. Where are they now? They have fallen out with each other. They are busy smearing one another. God forbid, if they had come to power, could they have shared it? Our nation saw this chaos. It saw this danger and once again chose the People's Alliance. It has launched the Century of Turkey,” he said.
"HUMANITY IS AT THE CENTER OF OUR POLICIES"
Noting that they have always worked by saying 'humanity' for 22 years, Minister Tunç said, “The secret to our remaining in power for 22 years stems from the fact that we have never let the flag of national will fall to the ground, and it stems from the fact that we have always considered the sentiments of the nation and acted as their voice. Humanity is at the center of all our policies. We always say, 'Let the people live so that the state may live,' don't we?
This is a sentence our President repeats very often. It is also one of the first sentences of our party program. We didn't just write it down and leave it there. We applied it. For 22 years, we have always said 'humanity first.' We said we need to empower our people. We prioritized education. We allocated the largest share of the budget to education. The regulations we implemented, whether related to health or the economy. From education to health, from social policies to culture, to justice and security, we have always worked for the people. Let the individual be strong, so that the family may be strong.
Let the family be strong, so that society may be strong. Let us be strong as a nation. What did we do for every corner of our country, for all 81 provinces? We equipped them with the deeds of the politics of works and services. With stability and development moves, we will continue to pursue works and stable development moves. We saved our country from being dependent on the IMF. We declared our independence in the economy. Everything from natural gas discoveries to oil, to nuclear power plants, is for the welfare of our people and to increase their purchasing power, in order to declare our independence in energy. Look, there was a natural gas discovery. Did they believe it? They didn't believe it.
Those who cooperate with terrorism, look at how oil gushed out from Gabar, from those mountains, with our clean hands as we cleared out those terrorists. It means that if you search in those places, you will find it. They are also against the nuclear power plant. If we do not declare our independence in energy, prosperity is impossible. With this awareness, we have prioritized these investments, and we continue to do so,” he said.
