Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: "May God damn those who are obsessed with their seats"

Responding to Erdoğan's remarks that "the former CHP chairman's only concern is to return to his seat quietly," Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said, "May God damn those who are obsessed with their seats! This cruel administration does not even deem this noble nation worthy of a cup of tea and a simit. How can you follow them?"

President Erdoğan, speaking at the AKP Eskişehir District Mayoral Candidate Introduction Meeting held at the Eskişehir Martyr Anıl Gür Sports Hall, had said regarding Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, "The former CHP chairman's only concern is to return to his seat quietly. Let them be caught up in their own narrow political squabbles. We have no such concern. Let them drown in their own infighting; we will continue to make our nation proud with our politics of service."

KILIÇDAROĞLU'S RESPONSE TO ERDOĞAN

Quoting Erdoğan's past speeches, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "This cruel administration does not even deem this noble nation worthy of a cup of tea and a simit. How can you follow them?"

Kılıçdaroğlu's post is as follows:

"May God damn those who are obsessed with their seats! @RTErdogan, get to the point! The price of a plain simit has reached 15 TL in my country... Here is the tea and simit calculation for you, with a 17,002 TL minimum wage and a 10,000 TL pension! 

The sentences and the calculations belong to you, and interestingly, they are correct... 1 simit is 15 liras, 1 tea is 10 liras. You have 3 children, a wife, and yourself—a family of 5. 3 meals a day, 30 days a month. One tea and one simit is 25 liras. 125 liras for one meal. 375 liras for 3 meals. 11 thousand 250 TL per month.

My dear brothers and sisters, this cruel administration does not even deem this noble nation worthy of a cup of tea and a simit. How can you follow them? Who will pay the house rent? Who will pay the electricity bill? Who will pay the water bill? Who will cover the children's school expenses? I am asking you. This is the state of the economy..."
