CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer Celal Çelikannounced that the Ankara 28th Civil Court of First Instance has rejected the lawsuit filed by Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcanregarding his expulsion from the CHP.

The statement shared by Çelik on his social media account is as follows:

"The fact that Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan's misconduct, behavior, and rhetoric necessitated his expulsion has been registered by the Ankara 28th Civil Court of First Instance! In today's final hearing of the lawsuit filed by Tanju Özcan against the expulsion decision, it was stated that the expulsion decision was in accordance with the law, and it was decided to reject the lawsuit filed by Tanju Özcan! Since the decision rendered by the court is final, there is no avenue for appeal against this decision..."


RESPONSE FROM ÖZCAN

Tanju Özcan, whose expulsion from the CHP has been finalized, expressed the following in a statement on his social media account after the decision:

"They nurtured and emboldened those who legitimize terrorist organizations like Sezgin Tanrıkulu, those who use terms like the Dersim Massacre like Orhan Sarıbal, those who recognize the so-called Armenian Genocide, in short, enemies of Atatürk. They kicked out sincere Atatürkists and Turkish Nationalists like me. My expulsion decision is finalized. The 'December 10th' group, Soros supporters, FETÖ members, HDP separatists, and Kılıçdaroğlu and his cronies can now celebrate."
