Last day for those who want to vote in the CHP primary
The presidential nomination primary process continues within the CHP. Membership applications for those who wish to vote will close today at 17:00.

The presidential nomination process within the CHP continues without slowing down.
According to the party's primary election calendar, those who apply for membership by 17:00 today will have the right to vote in the election to be held on March 23. In line with the current calendar, the sole candidate in the primary has been determined as Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
In the next stage of the primary process, the printing of voter lists will begin on Monday, March 3. These lists will be posted at district party headquarters on March 16. CHP members will determine the party's presidential candidate by casting their votes at approximately 4,000 ballot boxes to be set up across Turkey on Sunday, March 23.
