CHP Istanbul MP Mahmut Tanal announced that he will go to Silivri Prison to welcome the 102 young people for whom release orders have been issued.
Making a statement following the release of the young people, including Berkay Gezgin, the architect of the "Everything will be very beautiful" slogan and a member of the CHP Party Assembly, Tanal emphasized the collapse of the case.
In his statement, Tanal said, "This is not a case; it is a clear massacre of justice! There is no evidence, no crime, and no law in the file opened at the Istanbul 49th Criminal Court of First Instance! Young people, students, and journalists were arrested without any concrete justification. Innocent people cannot be held in custody unjustly for months, or even for a single day!"
Stating that he will go to Silivri Prison to celebrate the freedom of the released youth, Tanal said, "102 people were released today. This decision is the official proof that this case has collapsed! But this is not enough! Those who set up this conspiracy and those who turned a blind eye to it must be held accountable!"
Tanal added, "We will not forget this lawlessness, and we will not let it be forgotten! Justice for everyone, freedom for all together! Not just for one day, but law every day!"
