Mahmut Tanal reacts to the appointment of a trustee to the CHP İstanbul administration

Another reaction to the appointment of a trustee to the CHP İstanbul Provincial Presidency came from CHP İstanbul Deputy and jurist Mahmut Tanal.

Making a statement on his social media account, Tanal emphasized that the decision made does not align with the law.

Tanal used the following expressions:

“If the Ankara civil courts of first instance are rejecting these injunctions, why is Istanbul accepting them? Is there state law in Turkey? Let someone explain this. An injunction that results in a final judgment cannot be issued; this is a disaster!” Tanal's statements added a new dimension to the “rule of law” debates rising among party members and the public following the appointment of a trustee to the CHP İstanbul administration.
