Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş has responded to claims that he would join the İYİ Party. Following the claim made by Atik, the former Bayraklı Youth Branch President of the İYİ Party, Yavaş stated that various political scenarios have been produced regarding his name recently.

In his statement, Yavaş said, "In recent days, a new political scenario is being put forward about me every day. One day it is said that I will join a party, and on another day, my name is mentioned in different political calculations."

Emphasizing that developments concerning him would be heard directly from him, Yavaş said, "If I deem it necessary, if I have something to say, I will make that statement myself. When there is a development regarding me, you will hear it directly from me, not from others."

Yavaş stated that they are focused on municipal work and are outside of these debates. The Metropolitan Mayor expressed that infrastructure investments, social support, rural development, new projects, and work related to metro lines are on their agenda.

Reminding that they promised the people of Ankara a transparent, fair, and accountable administration, Yavaş stated, "I want to remind you once again clearly: Our priority is Ankara."
